Logic Puzzle #11
Another attempt at a Clue based Logic Puzzle, this one is more like a normal logic problem:
Mr. Body was found murdered! Can you figure out where each of the suspects were, what he or she was doing at the time of the murder, and what the suspect was holding? (One suspect is Mrs. White, and one room was the ballroom.)
1. The suspect in the kitchen had the candlestick, but the suspect in the dining room did not have the revolver.
2. Colonel Mustard was exercising, but not in the kitchen.
3. Mr. Green, the suspect with the rope, the suspect who was exercising, Miss Scarlet, the suspect who was painting, and the suspect in the library were all different people.
4. Of the suspect with the wrench and the suspect who was rehearsing, one was Mrs. Peacock and the other was in the dining room.
5. Colonel Mustard had a weapon that preceded that of Mr. Green’s alphabetically.
6. The suspect with the knife was painting, and the suspect with the wrench was not relaxing.
7. Of Miss Scarlet and the suspect in the conservatory, one had the rope and the other was cleaning.
8. Of Mrs. Peacock and Professor Plum, one had the lead pipe and the other was in the hall.

Incidentally, does anyone want me to post the answers to these logic problems? Or hints? If you do, leave me a comment and let me know!

I've enjoyed solving each of your puzzles. I haven't needed any hints so far, though it did take a long time to do some of them, but I solved them in the end. It's pretty obvious if you got it right or not, so I personally don't think you need to provide the solutions.
